How to make your home feel cosy with the right furniture

Display Family Photos

Using photos of your family as décor will make your home feel cosier and uniquely yours. In addition, you can mix and match the photos that you display with our framed wall art, such as the Silver Lotus Wall Flower, to create a unique art display on the walls of your bedroom, office, or living room.

Add Seating in Your Bedroom

Adding chairs to your bedroom will transform your bedroom into a multi-purpose room that is great for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep. Adding a lamp and an occasional chair, such as the Deco Armchair or Lush Leather Chair to a corner of your bedroom will create a tempting nook where you'll want to curl up and read a book.

Add Cushions

Cushions are the perfect accessories for your living room furniture. They not only give you the option to adjust your seating position, they can also add warm colour and gentle patterns to rooms that are otherwise fairly neutral with regard to the colour scheme. Load up on a few cushions, such as the Herringbone Leather Cushion or Honeycomb Leather Cushion. You can also mix and match your cushions, if you prefer an eclectic style for your home.

Fuzzy Area Rugs

Nothing says cosy more than an area rug with a fuzzy material. Whether it’s placed in the foyer, in the bedroom, or in the living room, the fuzzy material of your area rug will make your home seem nice and toasty. Our Grey Speck Rug makes a nice addition to any room, adding texture and lush colour to your space.

Go for a Rustic Look

Furniture made from washed wood and or unfinished solid wood can bring a bit of the outdoors inside your home. This works well to create the relaxed ambience of a bed and breakfast or a beach retreat for your home. To complete the look, pair the furniture with natural to muted tone fabrics to create serenity for your home that will make it seem comfortable and inviting.

Create an Alcove

If there is an area of your home that has a nook, take advantage of it by fitting it with a bed with built-in storage, such as the Zodiac Queen Bed. By completing the look with a canopy, you can create a private area that your guests will enjoy sleeping in.

Add a Sectional

Part of what can make a living room seem uninviting is when there simply isn't enough seating available. To fix this problem, add a sofa sectional, such as the Solitaire Modular Chaise Lounge or Pana Chaise Lounge Grey Black. A large sectional will ensure that there’s room for everybody! Whether it's time for family game night or you just want to place to lie down and watch a movie, a sofa sectional will add the comfort that you are looking for.
